BTS’ Jin To Sing Solo OST For K-Drama Jirisan; ARMY Thinks He Will Act Too

October has just started and BTS is already gearing up to give us more content. This is Jimin’s birthday month and we got good news on the first day of the month. As per reports, BTS’ Worldwide Handsome star, Jin will be singing his first solo OST ever.

Jirisan, the latest K-drama has been highly anticipated by the audience in the second half of this year. After the show was announced, everyone has been looking forward to watching it. And now, the first OST of their drama will be sung by Jin.

In a statement to tvN, they shared that the BTS member has lent his voice for one of the main theme songs of the drama. This has only increased the curiosity of fans as they are waiting for the track to be heard in the show. The lineup also includes Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and Gaho. BTS’ Jin has sung an OST previously and it has been with other members and this will make the Jirisan track his first solo K-drama OST.

BTS is known for their beautiful voice apart from being one of the biggest K-pop groups out there. The band had contributed to a K-drama OST for V’s acting debut. Both Jin and V had sung the beautiful song, Event If I Die Its You for the show, Hwarang. They have released an album called BTS World OST as well.

The album included original songs such as Jin’s solo theme song titled, Wish and V singing the OST for Itaewoon Class. V sang Sweet Night along with co-star Park Seojoon. The expectations for Jin’s solo OST. However, ARMY thinks that there is more in store for them. BTS’ label has been hinting for a couple of years that the members will be making their acting debuts.

Fans Are Eagerly Waiting For Jin OST Solo

Their fandom has clearly shown a lot of interest but nothing has been finalized. Jin was in the news as Hollywood actor Simon Pegg revealed that he would probably like to act with the K-Pop idol. BigHit entertainment might give fans what they want as cheers for actor Jin gets louder.

ARMY have been trending ‘Jin OST King’ and ‘Actor Jin’ to celebrate the news. They made tweets like, “1st October already giving us jin ost blessed, that’s how we start a month so true.” Another added, “Well deserved BTS Kim Seokjin: Silver Voice, Powerhouse Vocal.”

‘Jirisan’ is set to air on October 23 at 9 pm KST (8 am ET).
