Britney Spears Confuses Fans After Sharing Throwback Picture With Ex Justin Timberlake

Britney Spears’ belated birthday wish for her sister has got a lot of her fans confused. The singer’s choice of image is confusing as she posted a loving message for “beautiful soul” Jamie Lynn Spears.

It was a throwback picture of the pair having fun while Britney is all cuddled up with ex Justin Timberlake. This has naturally sent fans into a frenzy as they were quick to question the photo choice. Fans were quick to point out her choice after the Framing Britney Spears documentary seemingly showed Justin being publicly vengeful towards her.

The singer has since apologized to Britney publicly as he said she deserves better than how he treated her back then. Britney posted the image as she posted a lengthy caption to her sister. She wrote, “I love you so much and damn it I wish I was as smart as you at 30 !!!!”

The pop star confessed that she was basically her sister’s mum while growing up. She shared how proud she was of her sister as she continued to praise her. The Toxic singer shared, “I’m truly and genuinely inspired by your path and the life you have created for your beautiful children.”

Britney further complimented her sister for her mental strength as well as she joked about how strong she was physically as well. She concluded the long caption as she wrote, “PS I wish I was as strong as you and happy birthday.” Fans were quick to leave their thoughts on the choice of the image.

Fans Confused After Britney Says She is Embarrassed By Documentary

One commented: “Of all the pictures to choose from…JT?!,” while another said: “not a photo with JT. whyyyy.” Meanwhile, other fans suggested that the image could have been cropped leaving her former flame out of the picture. However, many others did not really mind her choice.

One of Britney’s followers said: “We just have to accept this woman doesn’t hold grudges. She’s better than us lol”. Another agreed and said: “She’s a better person than I.” Britney’s social media posts have been under scrutiny especially after the release of the Framing Britney Spears documentary. This has led many of her fans and friends to speculate that she is not the one who is responsible for her posts.

Fans have been speculating whether she is the one who actually writes her captions and posts her pictures. This rumor was fired up by the post she recently made in which she claimed to be “embarrassed” by the documentary. The pop star said she cried for two weeks after the release of the documentary. Her former makeup artist has come forward and claimed that Britney has personally told him she had no control over the caption.

Billy Brasfield revealed that the content is her but the words are not Britney’s. In the post, she seemingly wrote she did not watch the documentary but she was embarrassed. She wrote, “I didn’t watch the documentary but from what I did see of it I was embarrassed by the light they put me in … I cried for two weeks and well …. I still cry sometimes!”

Britney Posts About The Framing Of Britney Spears Documentary

The makeup artist had worked with Britney on The X factor back in 2012; as well as on Scream and Shout video back in 2013. He said he immediately that it was not her and shared the upsetting thing about the post. The MUA said, “What was upsetting [about the post] – it was basically a narrative denouncing her fans and the Free Britney movement and people now taking a very conscious look at the facts and what is going on.”

Billy further added that it might be complicated for her because she is invested and it’s her life. He shared that Britney does not like to be the victim and she never wanted to be a victim. The makeup artist added that she does not see herself as the victim and that she sees herself as a survivor. He said, “She does not like being a victim, she never wanted to be a victim and doesn’t see herself as a victim. She sees herself as a survivor and has navigated this with patience and strategy”. The artist also shared that he does not think of Britney as “fragile”.

According to him, the post was shared by the others in an attempt to distract people from the ongoing proceedings of the court. The highly popular documentary; The New York Times: Framing Britney Spears had covered the life of Britney and how she was portrayed in the media. It also covered her rise to fame and her conservatorship battle. The documentary also educated viewers about how the #FreeBritney movement really started.
