Andy Cohen Shared What to Expect From KUWTK Reunion Special

Andy Cohen announced recently that he will be the one hosting the highly anticipated Keeping Up With The Kardashians reunion special. He shared that nothing will be off-limits when asked what could be expected from the reunion special.

The host announced that he will be sitting down with the entire family for the reunion special. This will be covering all 20 seasons of the show. Andy revealed recently in an interview with SiriusXM’s Reality Checked. He told host Amy Phillips about the special as he shared it would be a Housewives-style reunion show.

“We’re going to cover all 20 seasons of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, in a kind of Housewives-style reunion show,” he shared. “Nothing’s off-limits with this crew. I don’t know if I can even say when we’re filming it, but we’re filming it.” Andy further shared that they were going out for the special and revealed filming it on a sound stage.

He shared that it will look like a real reunion show that everybody knows and loves. Cohen revealed that this is something he wanted to do for a long time and when they announced it was their final season, he decided to go for it. He said, “It will look like a real reunion show that you know and love, and this is something that I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and then when they announced that it was their final season, I was like, ‘We’ve got to do this. We have to do this the right way, you know?'”

Andy further confirmed that KUWTK’s main superstars Kris Jenner and all her kids, which includes Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian, as well as Kylie and Kendall Jenner will be participating. Scott Disick will also be there as a part of the reunion special. However, he said it’s unclear when asked about the presence of Rob Kardashian and Caitlyn Jenner.

He only continued to stress that the Kardashians will be the ones answering the tough questions. Andy revealed that he pitched the idea when he went to Khloe’s house for shooting an interview for For Real. He shared that they were all receptive and he said he also talked to Kim.

“I pitched [the special] to them when I went to Khloe’s house to shoot the interview for For Real. They all, I’d have to say, were very receptive,” he shared. “And, I’ve spoken to Kim a few times since then. And I’ve said to her, ‘Look, if we’re going to do this, we have to do it right. Like, I need to go there.’ And she’s like, ‘No, no, no, that’s what we want. That’s what we like about you. We want to go there. We want to do this.’ And I have to say, any time that they’ve appeared on Watch What Happens Live, there has been no restrictions surrounding their appearance.”

The Kardashians announced back in September last year that they were ending with the 20th season of KUWTK. But they will not be leaving the spotlight so soon. Further, they also announced that they have signed a new deal with Disney to star and executive produce a new reality series for Hulu. The new series will debut later in 2021.
