Blackpink’s Lisa Collaborates With Ozuna & Megan Thee Stallion on DJ Snake’s “Sexy Girl.”

Now that Lisa of Blackpink has established herself in the international market, her fans are anticipating what the Thai-born rapper of one of South Korea’s most popular girl groups has in store for her future musical ventures.

Many Blackpink fans were furious with her label, YG Entertainment, for not treating Lisa as an equal to the other members of the group when she was barred from attending Paris Fashion Week earlier in October.

Lisa has been updating her social media accounts on a daily basis to assure fans that she is having a good time, and Lillies are delighted she is. The idol shared images on Instagram on October 13 while wearing retro sunglasses and posing for a shot with Hollywood actress Diana Silvers. Lisa appeared to be having a great time on her vacation, posing for candid photos and filming a fun ‘Money’ dance challenge video with her choreographer Cheshir Ha.

On October 13, DJ Snake and Ozuna released a preview for their next song ‘SXY GRL’ or ‘Sexy Girl,’ which prompted many fans to recall the duo’s scorching hit ‘Taki Taki,’ which featured Selena Gomez and Cardi B and was released in December 2018.

With trap beats and a catchy melody, the track became an instant hit, and it remains a fan favourite to this day. The preview for ‘Sexy Girl,’ tweeted by DJ Snake, made it clear that the song would be a big deal, as it contains Lisa from Blackpink, Ozuna from Blackpink, and Megan Thee Stallion from Megan Thee Stallion.

Solo Stans Only Support Group Activities

Fans can see him exiting a fancy hotel and entering a fiery orange automobile in the teaser. The car was with a license plate that reads ‘SXY GRL,’ which fans have assumed is the single’s title. Lisa’s fans were surprised when the camera panned out from the license plate to a different black car with LISA written on it.

Lilies began rapidly discussing the song with the hashtag “SOLM coming soon”. Fans were thrilled to imagine this significant opportunity for Lisa. Ozuna went live on the same day as he revealed the song’s release date. As per the singer, the song will release on October 22. Other details regarding the single and the release dates will be announced later.

Meanwhile, the K-Pop idol’s two solo tracks are doing exceptionally well on charts because of which fans are excited to see what’s next. The fact that Lisa was the only member of Blackpink to appear on the single with DJ Snake, Ozuna, and Megan Thee Stallion did not sit well with many solo stans who prefer to support one member of the group than treating all members equally.

Blinks, who support all members equally, chastised these solo stans, telling them that anything Lisa performs as a solo artist is just as important to Blackpink members as group activities. Some solo fans were furious at Ozuna for leaking a spoiler in August, leading them to believe the collab was a group effort. However, the majority of Lisa’s supporters were in her corner, thanking DJ Snake for his perseverance.

A fan tweeted, Thank you @djsnake who has been waiting for a long time to collab with Lisa…. Love you” One fan said, “SOLM COMING SOON.” One more fan said, “Thankyou DJ SNAKE for your long long wait to have lisa participate on your masterpiece, You’re the best!”

Fans called out solo stans saying, “Every blackpink member support each other.” One fan reprimanded them saying, “Shut up all of you solo stans! Yg mistreated every single member of Blackpink more then enough! And now when they’re finally getting the attention they deserve as a solo artist or as a group, then yall solo stans be barking shit about one of the member.”
