As filming on Ant-Man 3 continues, the sequel gets a strange new logo

Quantumania, the sequel to Ant-Man and the Wasp, now has a strange new logo. For the third installment of the MCU sub-franchise, director Peyton Reed reunites with Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lily.

Principal photography for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is currently ongoing in London, and plot specifics for the film are still limited.

It’s safe to presume that, given its title and the events of the Infinity Saga, it’ll continue to explore the Quantum Realm. The Quantum Realm is “a realm where all conceptions of time and space become irrelevant as you shrink for all eternity,” as Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) defined it in the first Ant-Man film in 2015. Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), who had been stuck there for decades, was successfully rescued in 2018’s Ant-Man and the Wasp. The time heist was made possible five years later in Avengers: Endgame by Pym’s Quantum Tunnel, which allowed the surviving heroes to access the Quantum Realm with the help of numerous Pym Particle vials.

With so much to learn about the Quantum Realm, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will undoubtedly go in-depth. Aside from what’s been disclosed so far, the threequel’s new logo on the back of a movie set chair hints at its multiverse connections.

The logo’s font, on the other hand, is admittedly a little overly stylised. For casual fans who aren’t familiar with the full title of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, it may be tough to understand. The loops, on the other hand, may have something to do with the concept of time loops.

Certain occurrences occur repeatedly because it is intended to be the proper flow of time, as Mobius (Owen Wilson) explained in Loki. Meanwhile, He Who Remains said that even if he died, he would return to his Citadel at the end of time, implying that what had happened previously would repeat itself.
