Alicia Silverstone response to Paul Rudd’s sexiest man alive title

With a cute meme, Alicia Silverstone is honoring Paul Rudd’s title as the Sexiest Man Alive. Cher walks by a fountain after realizing she’s in love with Josh in a TikTok meme from their 1995 film Clueless (Rudd).

Silverstone’s character in the TikTok, Cher, looked up to the sky at a superimposed picture of Paul Rudd on the cover of People and mouthed, ‘Oh My God,’ while Drake’s Know Yourself played in the background. “I mean… Cher’s been saying he’s kind of a Baldwin since 1995,” the Batman & Robin star captioned the video. Silverstone’s caption, according to the Daily Mail, refers to a sequence in the film in which her character has a lengthy inner monologue about Josh, played by Rudd.

The monologue runs like this: “He dresses hilariously, listens to complaint rock, and isn’t even cute in the traditional sense. He’s like that slug who follows you around the house all the time! Ugh! He’s also a terrible dancer; I couldn’t take him anywhere.” ‘What am I worried about, this is like, Josh,’ she says afterward. Okay, so he’s a Baldwin in some ways.’

Meanwhile, Jennifer Aniston, another of Rudd’s former co-stars, thanked him on Instagram, sharing a video of Rudd’s PEOPLE photo shoot. “This makes me happy. We’ve always known it, but Paul Rudd is the Sexiest Man Alive, according to @people!” Aniston drew on top of the footage. In addition to The Object of My Affection, Aniston and Rudd co-starred in the 2012 comedy Wanderlust and the final two seasons of Friends, where Rudd played Mike Hannigan, Phoebe’s (Lisa Kudrow) husband.

Ryan Reynolds Believes Paul Rudd Will Be ‘Wasted’

Rudd’s Hollywood friends, including Seth Rogen, Mark Ruffalo, and others, were quick to remark and congratulate him, but Ryan Reynolds’ reply was the most amusing. The hero of Red Notice displayed his wit when he joked about the title being “wasted” on Paul Rudd.

“I worry that this chance will be wasted on him, like so many others before him,” Ryan Reynolds stated during an interview with Today about Paul Rudd’s humble attitude despite being named the Sexiest Man Alive. Further elaborating on why he believes it will be a wasted chance, the actor stated, “He’ll keep a low profile. He’ll keep it low-key and humble. I wouldn’t if I knew what I know now. You must take advantage of this opportunity.”
