Actress Kangana Ranaut Visits The Famous Golden Temple In Amritsar For The First Time

Kangana Ranaut has visited the well-known Sri Harmandir Sahib, famously called Golden Temple, in Amritsar, for the first time on Monday.

The actress took to Instagram and shared photos of her visit to the place. Kangana was accompanied by members of her family, including niece Prithviraj and her sister Rangoli Chandel.

How Did Kangana Feel?

In the photos, Kangana is seen wearing a simple blue ensemble while paying homage.

In one of the photos, she is seen carrying Prithviraj in her arms. In one case, she and Rangoli were seen praying.

Sharing the pictures, Kangana wrote, “Today I visited the Sri Harmandir Sahib Golden Temple, although I grew up in the north and almost everyone in my family has already visited this temple many times for me it was for the first time.

Controversy

Kangana’s visit comes just months after she posted several tweets about farmers’ protests in the capital.

Earlier she had tweeted an elderly woman in a farmers’ protest, mistakenly identifying her as Bilkis, the face of the Shaheen Bagh protest.

She had previously said that Bilkis was ‘available (for rent) for 100 rupees’ which brought out the response of many Punjabi actors. Although she deleted the tweet, actor Diljit Dosanjh criticized her for spreading false information and that became a major Twitter feud between the two.

Upcoming Movies

A few weeks ago, Kangana returned to her hometown of Himachal Pradesh, just after recovering from Covid-19.

Kangana was expecting the release of her movie Ithalaivi in April, but its release was delayed due to the ongoing covid crisis. She also has Dhaakad and Tejas in the pipeline for releases.
