Emilia Clarke Joins Marvel’s Secret Invasion At Disney Plus
Emilia Clarke is in final negotiations to join Marvel Studios’ upcoming show, Secret Invasion. The series will exclusively be coming together on Disney+.
The actress’ role is under wraps naturally and will be her first ever association with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She will be joining the rest of the cast including Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelson, Kingsley Ben-Adir, and Olivia Colman.
Marvel Studios announced Secret Invasion as a development property last year. this was one of the many projects planned for Disney+. Samuel will be returning back to his fan-favourite role of Agent Nick Fury. Meanwhile, Ben will be playing the Skrull Talos as he did in the movie of Captain Marvel.
The series will be revolving around a group of shape-shifting aliens who have infiltrated the Earth for many years. Kingsley will be playing the role of the main villain. Kevin Feige is producing the series for Disney+ like the other hit shows that have released so far. Both WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier are loved by fans all over. Kyle Bradstreet is writing and executive producing the venture.
Emilia is a four-time Emmy nominee for her excellent portrayal of her fan-favourite role, Daenerys Targaryen. She played the role on HBO’s superhit show, Game of Thrones which celebrated its 10 year anniversary recently. The actress has also achieved multiple Critics Choice Award nominations and was the 2018 recipient of the BAFTA Britannia Award for British Artist of the year.
She is further an AMPAS member and also included as one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People. The actress was a part of other ventures like Last Christmas, Me Before You, Terminator Genisys, and Solo: A Star Wars Story. She has lent her voice for the upcoming animation movie, The Amazing Maurice.

Olivia Colman Roped In For Secret Invasion
Just yesterday it was reported that Oscar winning actress Olivia Colman is heading to Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actress was also said to be in negotiations to join Secret Invasion which is one of Marvel’s many shows to premiere this year.
Secret invasion uses the events of Marvel’s Captain Marvel movie as the starting point. It focuses on the ever-popular secret Agent Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson. The show also focuses on a shapeshifter from the alien race known as the Skrulls. Further details of the Marvel series have naturally been kept under wraps.
However, an infiltration of Skrulls on Earth figures into the proceedings. It is still unclear what role would Olivia play in the Disney+ series. The cast also includes Kingsley Ben-Adir as the likely antagonist. Many directors are being lined up for the job and Kyle Bradstreet is writing and executive producing the show. He worked on the cyber thriller series, Mr. Robot.
Olivia has won an Oscar for her performance in 2018’s The Favourite. The movie also feature Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz. It was a part that landed her many other awards. Her recent role was playing the role of Queen Elizabeth II in Netflix’s The Crown. It also earned her a lot of appreciation.
