Geralt Is Preparing For A Snowy Fight In The Witcher Season 2 Image
Fans can see a snow-dusted Geralt prepared for a fight in a new shot from season 2 of Netflix’s The Witcher.
When The Witcher, based on a series of fantasy novels by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, premiered on Netflix at the end of 2019, it was a huge smash.
The Witcher was hailed for its action sequences, world-building, and superb casting of Henry Cavill as stoic series lead Geralt in the first English-language television version of the book series.
Season 1 of The Witcher
Geralt and Ciri (Freya Allen) are reunited at the end of Season 1 of The Witcher, and they realize that they are tied by destiny. Season 2 will follow Geralt as he leads Ciri to Kaer Morhen, his childhood home where he trained as a witcher, where he will seek to shield her from both the evil brewing outside the walls and the great power growing within Ciri herself, believing Yennifer was killed during the Battle of Sodden. Season 2 of The Witcher promises a lot of fighting, political unrest, and a new fatherly side of Geralt, according to the trailer that has already been released.
Geralt is depicted clutching his sword as snow falls around him in a new image released ahead of Season 2’s premiere, courtesy of Empire. Before a battle, Geralt appears to be enjoying some calm inner peace in this photograph. He also appears to have taken a potion to increase his talents in preparation for the combat ahead, based on the black appearance of his eyes.

Many of season one’s fight scenes were raised to new heights because of Cavill’s amazing physicality, and it appears that season two will provide fans with many more Geralt action sequences, based on both the trailer and this new image.
It’s unclear who (or what) Geralt is about to face in the image, but given that he drank a potion to boost his combat talents, it’s safe to guess it’s not a minor enemy.
When viewed alongside the season 2 trailer, it’s evident that the freezing and punishing (but gorgeous) countryside of the first season’s second half will be returning, with plenty of snow covering Geralt’s surroundings.
