Sykkuno Defends Valkyrae’s New Skincare Line ‘RFLCT’
The Internet has been divided into two stark groups since the past week or so. And why? Well, it is because of streamer Valkyrae’s latest initiative – A Skincare Brand.
RFLCT Skincare By Valyrae
Valkyrae, one of the most popular female streamers on the planet launched her skincare brand RFLCT last week and claimed that the product protects consumers from harmful blue light emission from screens.
Internet users were immediately divided into two groups after the launch of the brand – one which trusted Valkyrae and the RFLCT brand and the other that questioned the science behind such a product.
Valkyrae faced a lot of backlash for her advertisement. She said that the product was a ‘new kind of screen protection’ that includes Facial Gel Cleanser and Eye Gel Treatment. All these ingredients help to save the natural skin from harmful blue light from the screen.
What Did Sykkuno Say?
Sykkuno, a fellow streamer has now reacted to the ongoing drama. He has given his two cents on the whole story.
“Oh man, you guys. I’ll be honest, I don’t know too much about it. As far as I know, it’s skincare, and I think skincare is important. I have a skin disease, I have two skin diseases actually, so that’s important. I just hope she’s doing alright. That’s probably all I should realistically say about that, I think.”
Sykkuno also shared his experience of installing a ‘blue light protection’ Chrome extension and said that it was just ‘terrible’
“It was just terrible. So I pretty much installed f.lux, uninstalled it because it irritated me, and that was the end of it for me. So, that’s pretty much all I’ve got to say on the matter. I’m not an expert, so don’t take my word for it.”
