In his latest pictures that are going viral on the Internet, the actor’s face can be seen looking swollen than usual. While some fans say he is unrecognisable, others think the actor has gone under the knife.

“I can’t tell if that’s the real Tom Cruise with a ton of plastic surgery or a doppelgänger #dodgersvsgiants (sic),” said one Twitterati.

“I would assume Tom cruise’s strange appearance is the just the result of some plastic surgery that puffs up his face post-op (sic),” wrote another user. One of the user wrote that Tom Cruise looks like his aunt.

The star has already begun his work as agent Ethan Hunt for ‘Mission: Impossible 8’. Which is not slated for release until 2023, even though filming has only recently wrapped on the upcoming ‘Mission: Impossible 7’.
