Tom Cruise Is Praised By Mission Impossible 3’s Maggie Q

Maggie Q has recently talked about and praised Tom Cruise’s leadership on Mission: Impossible III. She was a part of the movie alongside Tom’s Ethan Hunt as a fellow IMF agent in the 2006 instalment.

So far, it has been the only movie she has been seen in, in the Mission: Impossible series. Mission: Impossible III was released in 2006 and was directed by J. J Abrams. The movie revolves around Ethan Hunt being lured out of retirement to take down Owen Davian. This movie had seen new IMF agents enter the series including Maggie Q.

She recently sat down with Collider to promote her latest film, The Protege. The actress talked about her work with Tom on Mission: Impossible III. Maggie discussed that Tom had an impeccable work ethic on set and showed immense leadership as a movie star. She added that he clearly loves his job which is not the same for all movie stars.

Maggie said, “Tom’s a leader. And again, when you work with people at his level, there is a reason they are where they are, period. There’s no question. He’s not my best friend so I’m not talking about him personally, but I am talking about him as a professional.” The actress added that his enthusiasm on set never ceases and that she has never seen it waiver.

She further said that she never saw somebody who loved what they did more and somebody who is so encouraging. Tom Cruise has always been passionate and that hasn’t changed in the years since Mission: Impossible III. The actor has played an important role as a producer on set. He has been involved in various responsibilities beyond his on-camera performance as well.

Just last year we witnessed that when Mission: Impossible 7 was under the COVID radar and the members on set did not abide by certain social distancing rules. Tom was heard on the tape leaked as he yelled at members who did not follow these rules.
