Aryan Khan and others were convicted to 14 days in judicial custody
In the cruise drugs arrest, Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Khan Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, and four others were denied bail by a Mumbai court. The court hearing began in the afternoon on Thursday and lasted till the evening. In the cruise drugs seizure case, a Mumbai court ordered Aryan Khan and the others to be held in judicial custody for 14 days.
The court also announced that the matter will now be heard by a special NDPS court. Aryan Khan’s lawyer, Satish Maneshinde, told the court shortly after the court-ordered 14 days of judicial custody that he is filing for “interim bail.” The bail plea, however, will be heard at 11 a.m. on Friday, according to the court.
14 days in judicial custody
The accused were scheduled to be taken to Arthur Road jail in Mumbai, as per the court order. Maneshinde, on the other hand, asked the court to keep Aryan Khan and the others in NCB’s custody because the jail does not accept new inmates after 6 p.m. without a court order.
According to the court order, “The zonal director (Sameer Wankhede) has been asked to hold the accused in NCB because jail authorities will not admit him after 6 p.m. until he has a COVID report. As a result, they could be remanded with NCB.”

The NCB detained and arrested Aryan Khan and the others on Sunday, and they have been in NCB custody since then. They’ve been taken for medical tests several times since then.
Maneshinde stated in court that nothing has been done other than taking their statement. Aryan Khan’s phone is also still with the NCB. He stated that there is no reason to remand the accused to custody because the remand report shows that the accused’s presence with the NCB is not required because the situation is the same as it was previously.
Shah Rukh Khan’s car was observed outside Mannat’s main entrance ahead of the hearing. The paparazzi stationed outside noticed SRK’s car exiting Mannat’s back gate and entering the main road. However, it is unclear whether SRK was in the car at the time.
