The “BTS MAP OF THE SOUL” Tour has been cancelled by BTS
BigHit Music has sadly confirmed the cancellation of BTS’s previously scheduled concert for BTS MAP OF THE SOUL. They announced on August 20, 2021, that the concert, which had been intended since January 2020, would be cancelled due to unfortunate circumstances.
The news was first announced on WEVERSE.
Big Hit Music said in an announcement published via its fan network Weverse, “Our firm has worked hard to continue preparations for the BTS Map of the Soul Tour, knowing that all fans have been waiting impatiently and desire for the tour.”
“It has become difficult to restart shows at the same measure and timetable as previously proposed due to altering circumstances beyond our control.”
The world tour was supposed to begin in Seoul in April 2020 and progress through 18 countries, including the United States, Japan, Brazil and Germany, following the release of its fourth studio album “Map of the Soul: 7.“

BTS chose to postpone the tour continually in April of last year, as the new coronavirus eruption began to mop the globe.
Big Hit Music expressed regret for the postponement and vouched to reschedule the show as soon as possible.
“We’re working on putting together a schedule and performance format that will fit your needs, and we’ll send you updated announcements as soon as we can,” it said.
Big Hit Music showed its most profound disappointment to ARMY and stated that fans who bought tickets for the concerts will receive an email from their original point of purchase demanding refunds shortly. Not only that, but they also stated that they are working on preparing a sustainable plan and performance structure that will match ARMY’s expectations, and that they will provide an update on this as soon as possible. We’re eagerly waiting to see what BTS has planned for us! They never leave us dissapointed.
