This month, BTS, EXO, and SEVENTEEN are at the top of the ‘Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings’
The ‘Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings‘ for August were released by the ‘Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute,’ and Kpop fans are pleased to see their favourite idols on the charts! BTS topped the index for the thirty-ninth month in a row, with EXO coming in second and SEVENTEEN coming in third.
The Brand Reputation Rankings are usually a nerve-wracking, time-consuming process of analysing how engaged netizens and media outlets are with the groups’ content. The organisation publishes the ranks for the top boy groups after a good and negative examination of consumers’ internet habits, participation index, media index, communication index, and consumer traffic. From July 14 to August 14, all of the data was analysed and compiled.
According to the head of Korea Corporate Reputation Research, BTS brand data declined by 12.65% from the previous month, while positive data accounted for 83.01 percent of the total. ‘Butter,’ ‘ARMY,’ and ‘Billboard‘ were among the most often used keywords.
EXO climbed to number two on the ranking, with a score that increased by 20.97 percent from July to August. Along with the second runner-up, SEVENTEEN, the group just obtained a ‘Gaon Million Certification.’
The top 30 boy groups for August 2021 are BTS, EXO, SEVENTEEN, NCT, ASTRO, THE BOYZ, MONSTA X, SHINee, BTOB, Super Junior, 2PM, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, SF9, Stray Kids, ONF, Golden Child, Highlight, TREASURE, ENHYPEN, ATEEZ, Winner, NU’EST, Infinite, TVXQ, VIXX, VERIVERY, PENTAGON, FTISLAND, Block B, and GOT7.
Congratulations to all of the bands that made the cut!
