Dakota Johnson had to choose between Jamie Dornan and Christian Grey

Dakota Johnson had to pick between her Fifty Shades of Grey co-star and his character in the movie. The High Note actress played a cheeky game of “Would You Rather?” on Stir Crazy with Josh Horowitz on Thursday. Josh asked if she would rather be in an erotic book club with Jamie Dornan or Christian Grey?

“Probably Jamie,” the Dakota Johnson said. “He’s a lot funnier than Christian Grey.” 

‘He’s a little one-note,’ Horowitz said of the fictional character. Dakota Johnson seemed to agree, ‘Sadly.’

Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan were the lead co-stars in their popular erotic romance film, Fifty Shades of Grey.  Rumours of the two co-stars feuding off-screen were quite popular while the franchise was still in production.

Addressing the rumours

The actor however denied the speculations. “Look, people are going to say that because it’s a story and people like to create a little bit of hype leading up to the film,” he explained at the time. “It’s an obvious story to come up with, you know, if I was into the world of coming up with fake stories I’d maybe start to do that on a blog.”

Dakota Johnson too addressed the alleged rumours in an interview, however she seemed visibly irritated.“We hate each other and we’re having an affair, so everybody’s right. How about that?” Johnson jokingly stated.

Dakota’s over the fence interview

Dakota Johnson isn’t just doing interviews inside her home. The actress recently managed to have a fun interview with her next-door neighbour, who just so happens to be Jimmy Kimmel. 

Dakota stood on her side of the fence, while the popular TV host stood in his own garden. This was certainly an interesting segment of Jimmy Kimmel Live! as it ditched the common video chatting method.

“I want to point out we’re socially distanced, so we’re not setting a bad example with the face masks,” Kimmel explained. “We’re at least 12 feet apart.”

The duo talked about various topics ranging from their neighbours, her dramatic pink gown and her boyfriend, Coldplay’s, Chris Martin.
