Yungblud has confirmed that his ‘Occupy the UK’ August tour dates will go ahead as it was initially decided. The singer will begin two weeks after the UK drops its coronavirus restrictions.
The dates were rescheduled earlier this year, in Nottingham on August 6. However, Scotland will still have restrictions in place next month. This means that Dominic Harrison’s two Glasgow dates at the Barrowlands have also been rescheduled.
The singer took to his social media account to express his excitement as he said he is eager to be in a room with everyone. He urged his fans to get ready and informed them that because of the ongoing COVID restrictions in Scotland, the shows have to be moved to the end of the year. The singer wrote, “i promise i did everything i could, i just want everyone to be as safe as possible.”
Yungblud’s another UK tour, the Life on Mars tour, is also set to go ahead later this year. This will be beginning at the end of September in Brighton. The following European run of dates has had to be rescheduled for 2022, though. “im so sorry i did everything i could, your safety is my top priority,” Yungblud wrote of the shows while combining new dates in Belgium, Poland, Portugal and Finland.
