World Of Warcraft Gamer Asmongold Might Quit Streaming On Twitch Forever
Fans are apprehensive of the fact that they will never see their favorite World of Warcraft gamer streaming on Twitch ever again! Asmongold has over 2.3 million followers on Twitch and he is considered one of the most popular streamers on the platform. But is he done and dusted with Twitch? Let’s find out
Asmongold has taken hiatus at different intervals in the past but this time it sounds serious. Recently, another Twitch streamer Pokimane hinted that she wants to quit Twitch as well. She confessed to being ‘burnt out’ in her streaming career.
‘Not Enjoyable Anymore’
She had claimed that it is hard to enjoy her time off without thinking she should do more. The streamer admitted to feeling burnt out recently and decided that it is time for a change.
While Asmongold might not have the exact same reason to leave Twitch, it’s quite similar and hints at a ‘burnout’. The growing trend of Twitch streamers hinting that they might quit streaming is alarming. Asmongold said that streaming is not the same as before. It is ‘not enjoyable anymore.
The streamer revealed his feelings in an August 21 stream when he said “I like having fun, I like playing things up, I like doing that stuff. And honestly, if I can’t do that — if I can’t have fun, and I have to constantly watch what I say because people are going to take it and use it against me, I don’t want to stream anymore, and that’s really the truth.”
‘I Don’t Want To Deal With This’
“There’s a big part of me that just wants to quit, I don’t want to do it anymore. It’s not fun, I’m not enjoying myself, and if it keeps up this way I probably will,” he added. “I hate to say it, but I don’t want to deal with this anymore.”
So what’s next for Asmongold? Currently, it seems that the streamer is in a tussle between continuing streaming or calling it quits. A possible next move for Asmon could be to get going on YouTube after Twitch.
