With ‘MONEY’ Lisa makes her second start on the Billboard Hot 100 chart

Lisa from BLACKPINK has charted her second track on Billboard’s Hot 100! Billboard stated on November 1 that ‘MONEY,’ a b-side from her solo debut album ‘LALISA,’ has debuted at number 90 on the Hot 100 for the week ending November 6. Lisa is the second female K-pop soloist to achieve multiple songs on the Hot 100 chart.

After CL, she was the first K-pop female solo artist to achieve this incredible feat with PSY’s ‘Lifted’ and ‘DADDY.’ A month after its debut, ‘MONEY’ has resurfaced in the music charts, rising to number one on the Official Singles Chart in the United Kingdom and becoming the fastest song by any K-pop solo artist to reach 100 million Spotify streams! With ‘LALISA,’ the lead single from her single album of the same name, Lisa debuted at number 84 on Billboard’s Hot 100, a weekly ranking of the most popular singles in the United States. After Rosé’s ‘On the Ground’ earlier in the year, she became the second member of BLACKPINK to have a solo entry on the Hot 100.

‘MONEY’ is also topping domestic and international music charts, including Spotify, the world’s largest music platform. Furthermore, only 38 days after its debut, the performance video for ‘MONEY’ had topped 200 million views on YouTube.

‘MONEY’ recently climbed to 5th place on the Spotify global list after topping the iTunes Top Song chart in 38 countries. In just 38 days, the ‘MONEY’ performance video topped 200 million views on YouTube. Lisa, many congratulations!

Lisa’s MONEY has 200 million views

Lisa, the newest member of the band, is proving this by releasing solo albums. On September 10, her debut solo album, ‘LALISA,’ was launched, and on September 23, a performance music video for the tune ‘MONEY,’ which isn’t the titular, was released. The video quickly went viral, with more than 200 million views as of November 1. Because of its catchy music and dance-challenged choreography, ‘MONEY,’ although being a B-sidetrack, has achieved as much if not more fame than ‘LALISA.’
