Will Smith And Jada Pinkett Smith Deny August Alsina’s Claims

August Alsina claims to have had an affair with Jada Pinkett Smith with the blessing of Will Smith.

Seems like it is a bad year for the Smiths too. After the Shane Dawson controversy, here is another bomb on their heads.

Will Smith has denied the claims August Alsina made about ‘having his blessing’ to be with Jada. Will’s representative claimed the reports as false and ‘wrong’. While a spokesperson of Jada also denied the allegations saying it is ‘absolutely not true’.

Here is what singer August Alsina claimed to have told The Breakfast Club’s, Angela Yee. August claimed to be in love with Jada Pinkett Smith, 48. He claims to have sat down with Will Smith and had a conversation due to the transformation of their marriage to a life partnership. August said Will Smith gave him his blessing.

Reportedly, it was Jada and Will’s son Jada who introduced August to Jada Pinkett Smith in 2015. August claimed that both he and Jada became very close and spent a vacation together. He also said they attended the BET Awards together in 2017.

August said he gave himself completely in the relationship for years. And he has a ton of love for Jada. He claimed, ‘I devoted myself to it, I gave my full self to it, so much so to the point that I can die right now and be okay with knowing that I truly gave myself to somebody. 

August says he loved a person and experienced and some people never get to do that in a lifetime. He explains that he is blessed and this is a difficult conversation to understand. But August says once it starts affecting him and his livelihood, he has to speak the truth. He claims that the affair lasted for years but the exact period is still unknown.

Jada and Will have been married since 1997. They met at the auditions of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Jada auditioned to play Will’s girlfriend in the comedy series. They have two kids together, Jaden, 22, and Willow, 19. Will Smith shares a son Trey, 27, from his first marriage to Sheree Zampino.

August Alsina is currently promoting his upcoming album The Product III:stateofEMERGEncy. He also has a YouTube documentary lined up called StateofEMERGEncy: The Rise of August Alsina. August had denied previous claims of having an affair in 2019. The claims came after his track ‘Nunya’ came out.

The lyrics in between the song had riffed speculation about his personal life. The lyric goes, ‘You got me feeling like it was an act, you’re just an actress / Putting on a show ’cause you don’t want the world to know.’

August claimed he is not speaking up to cause trouble. He clarified that he is not a troublemaker and he does not want to start drama. August said he did not feel like people need to know who he has been with or slept with. But he says, in this case, it is different because people keep looking at him questionably.

August said he has lost money, friendships behind it and he claims it is because people don’t know the truth. He clarifies that he has not done anything wrong and that he loves the Smiths. August says they have been like a family and he does not have anything bad to say about them.

‘I love those people [the Smiths] literally like my family. I don’t have a bad thing to say about them. They are beautiful people,’ he said.

Jada Pinkett Smith has several times denied when asked if Will and she have an open relationship. She also claimed that they will never get a divorce. In 2018, in an interview with Sway’s Universe radio show, she said to keep the divorce rumors coming. Explaining her statement Jada said that Will and she are a family and divorce is never going to happen.

Jada went on saying that people can take out all the relationship or marriage crap on them but she is always going to hold him down. She assured that despite all the ideas of a husband or a partner, at the end of the day, Will can rely on her.

‘All that relationship and what people think ideas of a husband, partner, and all that, man, whatever. At the end of the day, that is a man that can rely on me for the rest of his life, period,’ she said.

In a Facebook post, later on, Jada clarified that her statement ‘Will can do whatever he wants’ has raised questions. She said there is a need to discuss the co-existence of trust and love in their relationship. Jada rectified her previous statement saying ‘Will and I BOTH can do WHATEVER we want’. She explains saying they trust each other to do so.

Although Jada clarifies, ‘This does NOT mean we have an open relationship…this means we have a GROWN one. [sic].’ 

Will revealed in an interview at BET, 2018, that Jada and he do not even call themselves married anymore. He said they call themselves ‘life partners’. Will explains, ‘We refer to ourselves as life partners, where you get into that space where you realize you are literally with somebody for the rest of your life.’

He says that there are no deal-breakers. Will further explains that Jada could not do anything that would break their relationship. He says that Jada has his support till death and it feels good to come to that place. Will further told Jada, ‘There’s nothing that could happen that we won’t be together and love each other. Cause I’ve never met anyone like you, and I knew if I wasn’t with you, I’d be searching in vain for the rest of my life.’

In 2010, Jada revealed to Oprah Winfrey that spontaneity is the key to the couple’s relationship. She revealed that Will is a thinker and she always manages to surprise him. Jada says, ‘During the day I might send a sexy picture of some sort …If he’s on set with me, we might take a break.’

Just the year before that, Jada revealed in her Redbook interview that it was important to move things out of the bedroom. She explains to be sneaky and find places that are comfortable to get intimate.

We hope that they are happy together and get through anything and everything no matter what happens.
