When asked if Harry Styles is a part of Marvel’s Eternals, Kit Harington is vague

Rumors regarding Harry Styles becoming a part of Marvel’s Eternals have been circulating for quite some time, and actor Kit Harington recently responded to them with a somewhat subtle comment during his appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show. Harrington played coy when he replied Fallon, retaining his “no clue” stance on Styles’ MCU debut.

Styles’ MCU debut rumors originated after another Eternals actor, Salma Hayek, commented about her encounter with Harry Styles, which included her pet owl’s antics, during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres. Many fans assumed Hayek was referring to a moment while she was working on the Marvel picture, and rumors about Harry Styles’ secret appearance in the film emerged.

Kit responded to the Harry Styles issue in his latest interview with Jimmy Fallon by saying, “No idea unless I’ve been re-cast and he’s playing my part, not a clue.” After Jimmy mentioned that the two may have shot their scenes separately, Harington became awkward and quickly tried to salvage his facial expression by adding a “No comments” to it.

Because of Harington’s evasive reaction, fans believe the One Direction singer will appear in the MCU film. It’s been suggested that Styles will play Thanos’ younger brother, Starfox.

Eternals and Shang Chi

Eternals will not be the only Marvel Cinematic Universe film to be released in theatres exclusively. On the same Q3 earnings call, Chapek stated that Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will be released exclusively in theatres, calling it “an interesting experiment for us,” as the film’s performance in theatres will guide Disney’s release plans for future projects. Shang-Chi will be released in theatres on September 3rd.

The film, directed by Chloé Zhao and based on a script by Matthew and Ryan Firpo, will be released in theatres on November 5th. They’ll be the MCU’s next supergroup to join. Angelina Jolie, Kit Harington, and super-buff Wolverine cosplayer Kumail Nanjiani are among the outstanding cast members recruited by Marvel Studios to round out the crew.

The Eternals are “ancient aliens that have been residing on Earth in secret for thousands of years,” according to the official narrative.

It states, “Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, an unexpected tragedy pulls them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s most ancient nemesis, The Deviants,” according to the description.

Following the release of the trailer, viewers speculated on how the Eternals could remain hidden despite the terrible disasters that have befallen MCU Earth, resulting in some hilarious memes on social media.
