What we know so far about Rhea Kapoor’s wedding to Karan Boolani

Rhea Kapoor and her beau Karan Boolani got married today. Since the previous night, her father, actor Anil Kapoor’s house has been humming with preparations, and floral arrangements have begun to arrive. Rhea Kapoor’s wedding to Karan Boolani would be a very intimate ceremony, with just family and close friends invited, in light of the present pandemic.

Rhea and Karan have been together for 13 years, and while Rhea was first hesitant to share details of her personal life, in recent years she has been posting photos of the two of them. Karan Boolani is a filmmaker who has worked on television advertisements as well as assisting on films such as Aisha and Wake up Sid.

Sonam Kapoor, Rhea’s sister, returned to India two weeks ago after spending nearly a year in London with her husband, Anand Ahuja. Sonam’s wedding to Anand was a huge event, with #SonamKiShaadi trending for days on Twitter. Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and Arjun Kapoor were among the celebrities invited by the Kapoors.
