
What We Know So Far About Netflix’s Horror Film “Blood Red Sky”
German director Peter Thorwarth wrote and directed Netflix’s Blood Red Sky. Thorwarth worked on a variety of projects, including The Wave, Not My Day, and others. Stefan Holtz, who had previously collaborated with Thorwarth on several projects, joined him in the writing session.
Blood Red Sky does not yet have a release date, but it was included in Netflix’s big summer preview, so we expect it to be released this summer. The film is produced by Rat Pack Filmproduktion, a Constantin Film subsidiary. Blood Red Sky on Netflix isn’t the first time this storey has been told; in 2015, Peter Thorwarth directed a brief action sequence with a different cast and crew. The intent is unknown, but it is publicly accessible online, so we might as well take a look. In July, we might see a newer version of this scene in the movie, Blood Red Sky is scheduled to premiere on Netflix in July 2021. Take a peek at these first-look pictures in the meantime!
When a group of terrorists try to hijack a transatlantic overnight flight, a woman with a mysterious illness is forced into action. To protect her son, she must uncover a dark secret and unleash the vampire inside her that she has struggled to keep hidden.
Peri Baumeister, who has appeared in films such as The Last Kingdom, Skylines, The Saboteurs, and others, is the main lead in Netflix’s Blood Red Sky. Graham McTavish (Outlander, The Witcher, House of the Dragon) and Dominic Purcell (Outlander, The Witcher, House of the Dragon) are among the supporting cast members for Blood Red Sky (Prison Break, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow).

Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, filming for Blood Red Sky ran into some difficulties in the Czech Republic in 2020, but everything worked out in the end, and filming resumed later that year. The film is currently in post-production and will be available on Netflix in July. It is estimated that the production cost about 0.25 million Dollars.
