Watch No Way Home’s New Footage As Doctor Strange Fights Spider-Man

A new TV spot for Spider-Man: No Way Home depicts the creative battle between Spider-Man and Doctor Strange in the film. For the third time in the MCU, Tom Holland reunites with filmmaker Jon Watts; and Benedict Cumberbatch joins them this time. Marvel Studios and Sony are ratcheting up their marketing efforts ahead of the film’s December 2021 premiere; including the distribution of shorter promotional snippets.

The first trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home was published in late August 2021; while the second one was released two months later during a fan gathering in Los Angeles before being distributed to the general public. Both trailers have given viewers a decent indication of what to expect from the highly anticipated film.

While the consequences of Spider-Man: Far From Home’s game-changing ending will be explored in the threequel; it will mostly focus on a multiverse story. Doctor Strange’s involvement exposed Earth to threats from other dimensions when he cast a manipulated spell. As a result, old villains like Doc Ock (Alfred Molina), Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), and Electro (Jamie Foxx) make cameo appearances. While both Spider-Man and Doctor Strange are working for the greater good; they can’t agree on how to get out of their current situation.

As seen in the previously published previews, this leads to a dispute between the Avengers. However, a new Spider-Man: No Way Home TV spot depicts more of their battle. Doctor Strange pulls Peter Parker’s astral form out of his physical body in the video. There are several amusing comments in there because both characters enjoy talking. On Twitter, @CultureCrave shared this video.

Whatever occurs next will almost certainly lead to the movie’s third-act battle

According to the second trailer video from Spider-Man: No Way Home; this happens shortly after Doctor Strange says there’s no other option; but to destroy the wandering criminals from other realms. Peter, possibly motivated by his prior chat with Doc Ock, refuses to accept that it is the only way to address the problem. As a result, Spider-Man takes the cube, which may hold the secret to where the sorcerer is holding the bad people until they can be sent back to their homeworlds.

The scene where Peter is forced out of his physical form has already been highlighted. Despite the friendly banter between the heroes; it doesn’t appear that this disagreement will turn into a full-fledged war. Whatever occurs next will almost certainly lead to the movie’s third-act battle, in which all of the villains have been set free.

If Doctor Strange and Spider-Man are still good friends after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home; it’ll be interesting to see if Peter is involved in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. After all, the sorcerer had assisted the web-slinger with his personal problems. It’s only right for him to return the favour. If this isn’t the case, the two are likely to work together again in the future, possibly in Avengers 5.
