Produced by Shah Rukh Khan, the new series on Netflix, Betaal is a period zombie horror!
Netflix has revealed the first look of its upcoming series Betaal and it looks impressive. It has been produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment and it is a period zombie horror series.
The first glimpse sees a few people standing while giving a stare at something. The dark lighting sets exactly the right mood for the series. And it has definitely left us anticipated.

Betaal is all set to release on Netflix on May 24th. It stars Viineet Kumar, Aahana Kumra, Suchitra Pillai, Jitendra Joshi, Manjiri Pupala, and Syna Anand. Red Chillies had earlier produced the spy thriller Bard Of Blood for the OTT platform.
Netflix has already quite a few original Indian series this year. Jamtara, Taj Mahal 1989, She and Hasmukh have made it to the OTT platform in 2020. Now, it will be interesting to see how this one performs.
Here’s the official synopsis of Betaal:
A remote village becomes the theatre of a breathless battle when a two-century-old Betaal, a British Indian Army officer, and his battalion of zombie redcoats are unleashed. With Indian police pitted against the undead army, hapless villagers are trapped in a horrific, edge-of-your-seat conflict.
