It was yesterday when the renowned music composer Wajid Khan had died in Mumbai in Surana Hospital of Chembur.

The demise of the music composer Wajid Khan left the entire entertainment industry shocked and saddened. While he had died of a cardiac arrest, he had also contracted coronavirus.

According to the latest reports, Wajid’s mother Razina too has been tested positive with COVID-19. A source told ABP, “Wajid’s mother Razina had already contracted coronavirus before the late musician was infected with the virus. Wajid, who was suffering from kidney and throat infection, tested positive for Covid-19 later.”

The source added on saying, “Sajid-Wajid’s mother is better now and her condition has improved. She stayed in Surana Sethia hospital to take care of her ailing son. However, she contracted Covid-19 after she came in contact with other coronavirus patients at the hospital.”

The family buried Wajid in Versova cemetery around 1 PM. Owing to the current lockdown only 20 people could attend the funeral. Only close friends and family including his brother Sajid Khan were present.

The film industry including celebs like Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif amongst others had paid their last tribute the composer on social media.
