Vishal Bhardwaj has announced a multi-starrer film, Title track for Kuttey’s Chehre has been released

Vishal Bhardwaj’s multi-starrer Kuttey, starring Arjun Kapoor, Konkona Sen Sharma, Naseeruddin Shah, Tabu, and Radhika Madan, was revealed on Monday.

Vishal Bhardwaj’s son, Aasmaan Bhardwaj, will produce the film, which will be produced in partnership with filmmaker Luv Ranjan. Kuttey also stars Shardul Bhardwaj and Kumud Mishra of Eeb Allay Ooo! fame.

The film’s announcement teaser was published on Vishal Bhardwaj Films’ official Instagram page.

Kuttey, written by Aasmaan and Vishal Bhardwaj, is described as a caper-thriller. The film is now in pre-production, with shooting set to begin in late 2021. Aasmaan has a bachelor’s degree in filmmaking from the School Of Visual Arts in New York City, and has worked with his father on films such as 7 Khoon Maaf, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, and Pataakha.

Vishal And His Son

Kuttey is “very special,” according to Vishal Bhardwaj, because it is his first collaboration with his son.

“I’m looking forward to seeing what he does with it. Luv Films and Vishal Bhardwaj Films are also collaborating for the first time, which I am very pleased about because I appreciate Luv’s bold approach to filmmaking and strong commercial sense.

“Naseer Sahab, Tabu, Konkona, and Radhika have all worked with me on different films during my career, and Aasmaan has brought them all together in one picture. He stated, “We can’t wait for the public to see this exciting thriller on the big screen.”

“It gives me great delight that I am getting to cooperate with him for Aasmaan’s film,” Rajan added, describing Bhardwaj’s storytelling vision as “extremely motivating.”

Vishal Bhardwaj will compose the music for the film, with Gulzar composing the lyrics. Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series presents Kuttey. The film’s producers include Vishal Bhardwaj’s wife, singer Rekha Bhardwaj, and Ankur Garg.

The film would be Vishal Bhardwaj’s debut collaboration with Kapoor, whose most recent release was Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. Madan in the 2018 drama Pataakha, Shah in the critically acclaimed Maqbool in 2003, and Sen Sharma in Omkara are among the filmmaker’s earlier credits (2006).
