Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor, Maniesh Paul, and director Raj Mehta were all diagnosed with coronavirus during filming for Jug Jugg Jeeyo in Chandigarh last December.
Varun Dhawan, an actor, said on Saturday that he had received his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination. The vaccine was given to the 34-year-old actor at Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai. Dhawan took to Instagram to share photos from the vaccination centre, in which he is seen receiving the vaccine from a healthcare professional while dressed in a pink polo shirt and beige cargos.
While filming Jug Jugg Jeeyo in Chandigarh in December 2020, the actor, along with his Jug Jugg Jeeyo co-stars Neetu Kapoor, Maniesh Paul, and director Raj Mehta, were diagnosed with the new coronavirus. After a few weeks, all of the actors and the director were fully recovered.
In March of this year, the central government initiated a national campaign to vaccinate everyone above the age of 60, as well as those aged 45 to 59 who had co-morbidities. People aged 18 to 44 have been vaccinated by the federal and provincial governments since May 1.
