Ursula Corberó cried during filming scene for Every Money Heist Season 5

Ursula Corberó, who plays Tokyo in the Netflix criminal thriller Money Heist, says she cried at every moment in the upcoming fifth and final season.

The popular Spanish drama, also known as La Casa de Papel, will be released in two sections, each with five episodes, on the streaming site. The first set of episodes will launch on September 3rd, followed by the second set on December 3rd.

Money Heist has a new teaser on Netflix, which previews a last deadly showdown between the bank robbers and the Spanish military. Following the orders of Sergio “The Professor” Marquina (lvaro Morte), Tokyo is joined by her fellow criminals who have become her family. In the first two seasons, the group successfully robbed the Royal Mint of Spain, and then attempted to loot the Bank of Spain of all its gold.

Tokyo will be The Part of me Forever

Since the show’s first season, Corberó has been the principal character and rather unreliable narrator. So, regardless of the outcome, Money Heist’s climax was bound to be dramatic.

Corberó admitted to getting emotional while filming the last season in a recent interview with Harpers Bazaar.

She stated, “I couldn’t stop crying while filming every scene,” she says. There was a sharp pain in the pit of my stomach. Because I’ve had a lot of strange things happen to me as a result of this show. My life has changed for the better, and I am grateful and proud of it. I’ll miss Tokyo terribly, but I believe she’ll be a part of me for the rest of my life.”

To keep audiences interested, Money Heist has depended on action scenes, emotional plot lines, and the characters’ unshakable dedication to the scheme.

And now that it’s coming to an end on Netflix, viewers will have to say even more painful goodbyes to their favourite characters, some of which will be more emotional than others. Money Heist will undoubtedly include more weapons and deadly action scenes than it has ever had before, in order to meet the high expectations that come with a final battle.
