Ultra Music Festival 2020 Gets Cancelled Due to Public Health Concern: COVID 19

Ultra Music Festival 2020 in Miami has been cancelled because of worries over the spread of novel coronavirus. The festival was going to organized on 20th to 22nd of this month. The festival has been postponed, perhaps for a year. In result, this would cancel Ultra Music Festival 2020 in Miami. It is going to be the first time through the festival hasn’t been organized since it initially began in 1999. 

The choice to delay Ultra Miami supposedly came in light during a meeting on 4th March between Miami’s heads and Ultra delegates. Commissioner Manolo Reyes said, “The decisions was made to postpone it.”

Final Announcement Will Be Tomorrow

City authorities and Ultra have supposedly not yet formally reported. They will give an official update this Friday. The news follows a public interview prior in the day where Mayor Francis Suarez and Commissioner Joe Carollo said they would have liked to delay the celebration “to a later date when we’ll have a better idea of where we’re going with the coronavirus”. 

Carollo had recently said that we don’t want to cancel 55,000 city visitors every day. However, he said that with participants flying from 100 nations over the world there are critical perils. Ultra’s Abu Dhabi release, which was set at the end of this week. Similarly, has been cancelled amid ‘public health concerns’. 

It’s the most recent part in a somewhat risky connection among Ultra and its host city. The celebration had to move to another site a year ago after protests from neighbourhood inhabitants. However, tied down consent to come back to its otherworldly home this spring. It at that point got the threat of a lawsuit from Miami’s Downtown Neighbors Alliance.
