Tyler Cameron Says Matt James Dodged A Bullet Not Going On Clare Crawley’s Season
Tyler Cameron reveals what he thinks about Matt James’ Bachelor Nation casting switch-up.
Matt was originally supposed to be in Clare Crawley’s cast for The Bachelorette. However, when her season got delayed because of the ongoing global pandemic, Matt got his own show.
Matt was announced as the first Black male lead for The Bachelor’s 25th season. The filming for the same is currently going on. In a new interview, Tyler shared that he thinks his best friend and roommate “dodged a bullet” by not being a part of Clare’s season.
The runner-up of Hannah Brown’s Bachelorette season shared, “That boy dodged a bullet. That boy is on his own. Just ’cause it’s a mess. It’s just a disaster. You know what I mean? It’s nothing about Clare. It’s a mess, you know? Just to be able to jump and skip and be the Bachelor, like who, I mean, of course, good for him, so I am very happy he’s not there.”
Tyler added how he would have loved a showdown between Matt and Clare. He said they would have made that the first one-on-one date. The runner-up further shared they would have had to hash it out and Matt would have gotten kicked out. He shared that he found the idea hilarious.
Clare’s Bachelorette season is currently airing and it looks like she is falling for Dale Moss from the beginning. Their romance brought her season to a sudden end. Although Clare’s exit had been a rumor for months as she got replaced by Tayshia Adams.
Clare Couldn’t Do It Anymore
The replacement was made official after the release of their teaser last week. The rest of the season will focus on Tayshia, however, it has been revealed that fans will get a look at Clare’s relationship with Moss. Rob Mills appeared in Nick Viall’s podcast and confirmed the news.
“She just couldn’t do it anymore,” he said of Clare’s departure. “I think she was sort of going crazy a little bit”. Rob said Tayshia will be part of the season which will start next week. He said this is when Chris Harrison says The Bachelorette will blow up.
Matt had previously shared the positively overwhelming response to his casting has been. He shared how his Black friends are excited about him being a part of the show. The Bachelor said, “I have this opportunity to just represent what it’s going to look like to have diverse relationships and tell those love stories.”
Matt shared his excitement about the show. The Bachelorette will air on Tuesdays on ABC. Season 25 of The Bachelor is expected to premiere early next year.
