The official trailer for Netflix’s star-studded film Don’t Look Up has been published, and there’s no way we can stay calm now.

Jennifer Lawrence, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Meryl Streep play the title roles in Adam McKay’s film, but there’s a catch!

Ariana Grande, Timothée Chalamet, and Kid Cudi are among the many talented musicians and actors that appear in the film.

‘planet killer’

Rob Morgan, Jonah Hill, Mark Rylance, Cate Blanchett, Tyler Perry, Ron Perlman, and Scott Mescudi join the cast as some of the industry’s most gifted actors. Streep’s “sit tight and assess” may be heard again in the new teaser, but this time Jonah Hill explains it much more clearly. “First, you have to sit tight,’ then you have to absorb it, and finally you have to appraise it,” he continues. Meryl Streep’s US President is thrilled about her son!

While a massive meteor is known as a “planet killer” continues to hurtle towards Earth, DiCaprio’s Dr. Randall Mindy and Lawrence’s Dr. Kate Dibiasky go above and beyond to clear things up, even if it means being unexpectedly seized by the FBI (but that’s just the powerful President’s son Jonah Hill pretending to apprehend the scientists to put an end to the reported ‘rumors’ about the meteor!)

Don’t Look Up appears to be a serious film, but once the characters start speaking, it becomes hilarious and weird! The film will be available for streaming on Netflix starting December 24.

The clip suggests that Grande and Chalamet will give fantastic comic relief among serious comet discussions, and we can’t wait to see what happens onscreen.

Ariana Grande’s Part On Don’t Give Up

The 28-year-old singer revealed that she is a fan of director Adam McKay’s work and that when he approached her for a role, she was excited, but she wanted to “earn it,” so she insisted on an audition.

Grande revealed the reason behind her and McKay’s encounter, saying, “‘I’m a great fan of his work. I’m a huge comedy lover and he’s one of my favorites. ‘I have this role for you in my upcoming movie,’ he added, reaching out. ‘Oh, my god,’ I exclaimed. Hold my horses, because I have had to audition, I have to earn this, I have to tape myself.’”
