Tom Felton Relives Harry Potter Feud In New Photos

Tom Felton played the villain we love to hate in the superhit franchise of Harry Potter. The actor who played Draco Malfoy trolled his fans with some photos from the Harry Potter movie where his character had a little bit of a victory over the main lead played by Daniel Radcliffe.

The actor’s character in the movie was a spoiled brat since the beginning of the seven-part movie franchise. His character believed that non-magic people are impure and that pure-blooded wizarding families were superior. However, despite his many attempts to hate Harry Potter, he ended up helping him once or twice.

Harry also helped Tom’s character out time and again. Although Draco was a brat, the common argument among fans remains that the character was a victim of the circumstance. His character found immense joy in rising above the boy who lived.

Although it’s been 10 years since the franchise ended, Tom is keeping the spirit of Draco alive. The actor rekindled the Harry-Malfoy enmity as he posed with two photos from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. He took to his social media to hilariously troll fans with the images.

If you would take a look at the comment section of the image, it will be quite clear that Malfoy has a strong fan base. In the scene from the image, Harry was spying on Draco while on the way to Hogwarts. He managed to do that with his invisibility cloak, which did not work out well for him.

Draco cast a paralyzing spell on him as well as hit him. His caption also points out emojis which clearly state, Gryffindor-0, and Slytherin-1.

Tom Is Planning A Harry Potter Reunion

The actor had hinted that he has something special planned to mark the 19^th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone in November. The actor, as we all know, played Draco Malfoy in the fan-favorite franchise. And he still seems to be sharing a very special bond with his Harry Potter co-stars. Yes, it includes our beloved Harry, Ron and Hermoine played by Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson respectively.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight on October 17, Tom hinted that fans may have the blessing of seeing the cast reunite again as they celebrate the anniversary. The 19^th anniversary will be marked on November 14.

The actor revealed he is planning some sort of digital celebration. He said, “I’m trying to wrangle all the oldies back together again to celebrate the achievement, really.”

The cast has worked together with each other for 10 whole years, which basically makes them a family. The actor said that it has been nice to have a little time off the camera and reconnect with the friends he made while filming Harry Potter.

Tom revealed that he saw the Weasley Twins, played by James and Oliver Phelps. He said, “We went out to play some golf. Always chatting with a lot of the other guys on WhatsApp and staying in touch with them and making sure everything’s alright.”

Tom Reveals Desire To Work With Daniel

Malfoy is one of the many villains of the franchise and the actor said despite that he gets immense support. Tom said Draco is great as he has so many layers and is highly misunderstood. However, he also agreed and said “he’s also a bit of a git”.

The actor said, “He needs a hug really. I think maybe people feel sorry for him, he needs a bit of affection.” He revealed that over the years he has reunited with a lot of his former co-stars. However, he said he has not got the opportunity to share the screen with them since the final film of the Harry Potter franchise.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 was released back in 2011. Tom and Daniel seem eager to reunite again, despite their characters being at different ends.

Tom revealed back in 2019, “We do want to work together on some things or another. Daniel and I talk about one day I’ll get to be the good guy and he gets to play the villain. So yeah, you never know. They’ll bring us all back for a proper reunion one day.”
