Dixie D’Amelio revealed some answers as she spent an entire day with Vogue. The new video followed the TikTok star around for 24 hours.

They followed her to her recording studio, her virtual fitting with Valentino or making breakfast. She talked about her life for the cameras and was as like an open book. The social media personality also talked about her thoughts on college.

Dixie shared that she fully got into college back in August 2019 and just decided not to go because traveling back and forth was a lot. She explained that she was really scared because she saw someone make a TikTOk saying that they would play her songs at a frat party. The social media influencer added that it turned her away from going to school because she didn’t think she could handle that level of embarrassment.

Back in 2020 itself, the artist was able to collaborate with former One Direction singer Liam Payne as well as Wiz Khalifa. She released her debut single which was titled ‘Be Happy’. The TikTok star is also getting used to living alone in Los Angeles.

She admitted that it was fun living with her family, however, she wanted a place of her own as she grew up. The social media personality shared how she was supposed to be in college right now. She said she needed to learn how to grow on her own and be mature.

“I am super nervous because I make a lot of mistakes..”

Dixie shared that it was not happening as she lived with her family because she made her mother do things for her. She said, “I was supposed to be in college right now so I thought I needed to learn how to grow on my own and mature and I wasn’t doing that because I would just have my mom do things for me. So now, living by myself, I still go home every day to my parent’s house and have my mom do things for me. But, I mean, that’s what moms are for, right?”

The TikTok influencer will be pairing up with her sister, Charli D’Amelio along with their parents for a new Hulu show, The D’Amelio Show. It is set to premiere later this year and will revolve around the famous family as they navigate their sudden rise to fame.

“I am super nervous because I make a lot of mistakes and I know it’s all going to be caught on camera now,” Dixie explained. “The only thing I’m nervous about is Charli and I’s relationship being shown because we have a really good relationship, but we do get in normal sister arguments. We’re just siblings and that’s how we act.”
