The Twilight Saga Movies will be available on Netflix in the United States in July 2021
On July 16th, 2021, almost every Twilight film will be available on Netflix in the United States. It’ll most certainly end up on Netflix as part of a standard Lionsgate licence, as Netflix still licences older films. The Twilight films don’t need much of an introduction, and you’ve probably already formed an opinion about the often contentious film franchise.
We ran across this amazing overview of the five Syfy movies while rapidly investigating the series. They take you through their 100 thoughts while viewing the movie back-to-back on Netflix, which you’ll be able to do next month.

The five films were released between 2008 and 2012 and, as we previously stated, you will either adore or hate them. They grossed a combined $3.346 billion at the box office, with no doubt much more in goods since. The film, which is owned by Lionsgate, is distributed by Summit Entertainment.
Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, and Ashley Greene, among others, starred in the film franchise. It is based on Stephanie Meyer’s best-selling novels.
So, fast forward to today, and it appears that four of the five films will be available on Netflix in the United States in mid-July 2021.
The following are the Twilight films that will be available on Netflix on July 16th, 2021:
- The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009)
- The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010)
- The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 (2011)
- The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 (2012)
Notably, the first Twilight film is not currently scheduled to be released on Netflix on July 16th, 2021, but this could simply be due to the title not yet being uploaded; we’ll keep you updated as we learn more.
Visit our monthly preview for a comprehensive overview of what’s coming to Netflix in July 2021, which is updated every other day. At the moment, the Twilight movies are exclusively available in the United States. The movies have come and gone in many other areas over time. In the UK, for example, the movies were last combined in October of 2018.
We’ve been saying for a long that Lionsgate would make a great acquisition target for Netflix, and the Twilight franchise is likely one of the strongest draws, at least for us.
