The Resident Evil 2021 trailer shows a large number of new zombies and monsters

Sony has released a new trailer for Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, which features plenty of new monsters and zombies, as well as more of Lisa Trevor.

Following the considerable deviations taken by Paul W.S. Anderson’s long-running franchise, the revival of the film franchise based on Capcom’s survival horror video game series will bring the tale back to a faithful approach. The film, written and directed by Johannes Roberts of 47 Meters Down, will adapt the events of the first two Resident Evil games.

Trailer Shows A Ton Of New Zombies

The storyline for Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City will take place in 1998 and will follow a group of survivors of a deadly zombie outbreak in the titular quiet town as they try to piece together the links between the outbreak and the evil pharmaceutical firm Umbrella Corporation. Kaya Scodelairo as Claire Redfield, Robbie Amell as Chris Redfield, Avan Jogia as Leon S. Kennedy, Tom Hopper as Albert Wesker, and Hannah John-Kamen as Jill Valentine are among the video game characters who appear in the film. Sony is attempting to build hype for the film as it approaches its long-awaited premiere.

With only a few weeks till the release of Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, Sony has released a new video. The movie shows the video game characters battling plenty of monsters and zombies, including Lisa Trevor, a fan favorite.

The latest Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City teaser is sure to catch the attention of lifelong Resident Evil fans. The new footage gives us a better look at Lisa Trevor’s depiction in the film, a figure Johannes Roberts has indicated will be important not only to the overall plot but also to Claire Redfield’s.

The clip appears to place her in the Raccoon City Orphanage, where Claire and Chris grow up after their parents die when they are young, as well as possibly presenting the first live-action Sherry Birkin, who was left out of Anderson’s franchise.
