The New MCU Team Is Celebrated With A New Disney+ Marvel poster
At Disney+, it appears that the old is being replaced by the new, as the streaming service recently announced a new banner featuring the revised MCU team.
Marvel has had a busy year, with films like Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and Eternals all hitting theatres within the last few months. On Disney+, the MCU debuted its first batch of original episodes, including WandaVision and Loki, which were all warmly welcomed.

While fans will always remember the original 23 films, which lasted 11 years, the MCU is without a doubt going into new terrain and introducing new characters. Eternals just introduced many new crucial characters, all of whom will have a “huge” impact on the MCU, according to director Chloé Zhao.
Shang-Chi presented the titular hero, while Black Widow revealed Natasha Romanoff’s “sister,” Yelena, for the first time. In terms of the Disney+ series, Loki introduced Jonaen Majors’ Kang, while The Falcon and the Winter Solider did the same for Sam Wilson’s Captain America. Monica Rambeau, who will make her complete debut in The Marvels, was also teased by WandaVision.
It’s no surprise that Disney+ needed a new banner to highlight the MCU’s new characters, given all of the recent material. Original Avengers like Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, and Bruce Banner are replaced with modern heroes like Wanda Maximoff, a.k.a. Scarlet Witch, Loki, and Shang-Chi in the new banner, which was uploaded to Disney+ on November 11th.

Marvel appears to be putting a lot of emphasis on its upcoming Phase 4 releases, which means that some of the older characters are getting pushed aside. Fans may have noticed, however, that in addition to Black Widow, another founding Avenger, Thor, is still depicted on the poster.
This is due to the fact that Thor will feature in Thor: Love and Thunder, a planned Phase 4 release. The film will be directed by Taika Waititi, who also directed Thor: Ragnarok. It will be released in Spring 2023. It’s just one of several upcoming Marvel Phase 4 releases that fans can look forward to in the coming years.
