The Godfather Spin-Off’s Miles Teller Trolled After Testing Positive For COVID

Miles Teller allegedly contracted COVID which in turn halted the production of The Godfather spin-off The Offer. As per an insider, Miles had allegedly refused both vaccinations and prior tests of COVID. This was before he tested positive for the same on the set in Los Angeles.

The source of Daily Mail revealed, “Miles Teller is not vaccinated. He wouldn’t even get the test…Now he’s brought the virus to the set and the whole set had to shut down.” The production had to be halted on July 28 and a rep for one of the series told Deadline that they have temporarily halted for caution.

The rep said, “Out of an abundance of caution, we have temporarily halted production on The Offer due to the return of positive coronavirus test results during routine testing.” They also said they will continue to follow the safety protocols and monitor the situation closely.

However, Miles‘ publicist told Daily Mail that the facts were incorrect but declined to elaborate as well. The report brought up several memes and reactions from users. Many were criticizing the Whiplash alum and the producers for replacing Armie Hammer with Miles for the role.

Miles has previously come under fire in 2015 when he misbehaved in an Esquire interview. This led him to be portrayed in a negative light with the very first line of the article itself. It read, “You’re sitting across from Miles Teller at the Luminary restaurant in Atlanta and trying to figure out if he’s a d**k.”

The Whiplash actor was also detained by police for intoxication in 2017. He had taken to social media to clarify the incident and wrote, “Went down to SD to see my buddy before he deployed…I wasn’t arrested I was detained bc there was no evidence to charge me with a crime.” This also led to loss professionally as he lost the lead role in La La Land to Ryan Gosling.
