The Gag Reel for Lucifer Season 5 is a lot different from the previous ones

The Lucifer season 5 gag reel is now available on Netflix, and it features a hilarious take on Lauren German and Lesley-Ann Brandt’s Chloe and Maze kiss. The series follows the titular Lord of Hell as he abandons his post to open a nightclub in Los Angeles, falls in love with a police detective, and uses his skills as a consultant to get closer to her.

It premiered on Fox before being cancelled and being picked up by Netflix. The fantasy police procedural is based on the same-named DC Comics and Vertigo character created by Nail Gaiman, who first appeared in The Sandman series before earning his own solo series.

Netflix has released the blooper reel for the whole fifth season of Lucifer, after the release of the latest batch of episodes on the streaming website. A humorous scene in which German and Brandt take a different approach to Chloe and Maze kissing than what ended up in the final cut is included among the mess-ups and poking fun at each other. Check out the remainder of the blooper reel after the leap:

It was evident from the start that Lucifer would take advantage of Netflix’s ban platform to build some steam for its cast and characters, and as many actors have noted in the past, doing so needs a level of confidence with their co-stars.

From pretending to make out with one another to making fun of one another’s accents, the blooper reel serves as a pretty good idea of how comfortable they’ve become with one another since first meeting at Fox. Lucifer season 6 has already concluded filming, so fans won’t have to wait long to bid farewell to their favourite characters and enjoy another hilarious blooper video.
