Barbara Muschietti, the producer of The Flash has confirmed that the movie is close to wrapping up its production. The premiere date for the movie’s release in the United States is on November 4, 2022.

The Flash has been in development for some time. It was supposed to premiere back in 2018, but the plan was delayed in certain creative challenges. The production had begun in April 2021 and the shooting is taking place in the United Kingdom. Its filming was suspended temporarily after a camera operator had gotten injured during an accident.
The movie’s production resumed and the film has been shooting smoothly since. Now the movie seems to have come to a close. Barbara is the sister of director Andy Muschietti shared a BTS image from the set of The Flash. The producer’s post featured Andy smiling as he was sitting beside his vanity van. The producer expressed his joy in the post as he announced that the movie would be wrapping up soon.
The details about the plot have not been revealed and the information that is available has created a tidal wave of excitement. It is set to introduce DCEU’s own version of the multiverse and would have the debut of Sasha Calle as the franchise’s Supergirl. There are two Batman versions, one by Ben Affleck and the other by Michael Keaton.
A new image featuring Calle posted with Wonder Woman cutout sparked speculations about the cameo from Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince. However, these reports haven’t been unconfirmed. The Flash has been filming for about six months now. This has run longer than the production spans of fellow DCEU instalments. Both Shazam! Fury of the Gods and Black Adam took only 3-4 months each.
Hopefully, fans will be able to get a look at the movie at the upcoming DC FanDome on October 16, 2021.
