The film adaptation of Black Superman, according to Zack Snyder, was “way overdue”

Zack Snyder, an American filmmaker, expressed his support for JJ Abrams’ upcoming DC film, which is rumoured to feature a Black Superman.

Zack publicly revealed during his Netflix’s Army of the Dead movie promotions that he was curious to see how JJ Abrams and Ta-Nehisi Coates performed the superman reboot and called the decision to cast a Black actor as the iconic superhero “long overdue,” according to People Magazine.

“JJ Abrams is someone I admire and admire what he’s done in the past. I’m curious to see what happens; it’s a brave and cool step that’s likely long overdue. But, of course, I adore Henry [Cavill] as Superman. He is my superhero, “Zack remarked. The latest film is a remake of Zack’s 2016 superhero film ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ and his 2017 Justice League. Henry Cavill portrayed Superman in these films.

JJ Abrams is producing the film, which will feature a ‘Black’ superman, and Ta-Nehisi Coates is writing the screenplay. “I’m not interested with all of Warner Brothers’ decision-making in any way, so I think I’ll just have to wait and see what they do about it and how it plays out. Michael B Jordan dismissed rumours that he would be cast as the new Superman in the film after Warner Bros. announced the reboot in February.
