Thanos Has A Secret Connection To Loki Episode 3

Loki’s third episode revealed a hidden connection to Thanos. After the conclusion of the Infinity Saga and Thanos’ defeat, the Marvel Cinematic Universe will go forward, but the Mad Titan’s links will remain. Thanos’ journey in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is intrinsically tied to Loki, who plotted to betray him after The Avengers.

Years later, Thanos killed Loki in Avengers: Infinity War, bringing the two characters together again. While Tom Hiddleston is now the star of a Disney+ series, Loki continues to connect the dots between their stories.

Loki episode 3 continues the cliffhanger from episode 2 by showing where Loki and Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) went after passing through the TVA portal. Their pit stay at the TVA headquarters was cut short, and Loki dispatched them to a new location in order to keep them safe.

He accidentally dispatched them to Lamentis-1, a moon on the verge of apocalypse. Loki and Sylvie walk over the purple terrain in an attempt to survive, but they are unable to do it. Loki episode 3 included a secret connection to Thanos as a result of his voyage to Lamentis-1.

Lamentis-1

The population of Lamentis-1 in 2077 isn’t examined in depth, although the location is taken directly from the comics. The planet of Lamentis is only a little portion of Marvel’s extensive comic history, although it has been revealed to be a Kree Empire outpost.

Over the years, various alien races and entities have lived on Lamanetis, including a group known as the Priests of Pama. Annihilation: Conquest Prologue #1 established this. During Loki, the Priests of Pama aren’t specifically visible on Lamentis-1, but they were dispersed throughout the galaxy, which led them to Thanos’ homeworld.

Even though the Priests of Pama aren’t visible in Loki episode 3, it’s likely that they existed on Lamentis-1 before it was destroyed. The MCU is still decades away from Loki and Sylvie’s adventure, which takes place in 2077.

If Mantis’ past is explored or Moondragon is tied to the gang, Marvel Studios might bring the Priests of Pama later, possibly as soon as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. It’s unclear whether Thanos and the Priests of Pama ever met in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
