Swedish Netflix Series ‘Snabba Cash’ Set To Return With A New Season In 2022

The new and well-received Swedish series of Snabba Cash is coming back for a second season on Netflix, which is to air in 2022. Filming is likely to begin later this year.

The Thriller series debuted on Netflix on April 7, 2021 across the whole world, and it picks up where the film trilogy had left in the ending,

The series was commissioned back in June of 2019 by SF Studios, which was heading the project.

Fan Reactions

According to the Flixpatrol, which is reporting that the series has done well in their home country for 61 days.

It has always worked fine in the other Scandinavian countries, including Norway (55 days) Finland (up to 28 days), and Denmark (23 days).

It also performed well in other countries in Europe, but couldn’t make it into the top 10 in the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia or New Zealand.

Second Season

Thanks to Expressen, we’ve learned that Snabba Cash is returning for a second season in 2022.

Oskar Söderlund told the Express newspaper that the (free translation): “The work with season 1 had a lot of fun teamwork and to be able to return to our characters, the team and actors who work with the project feels fantastic. I am very proud of season 1 but now we will do something even better.”

In addition, starting in 2022, another Swedish series, “Love and Anarchy” is due to return for a second season.

Other TV works pending on Netflix are Anxious People, Young Royals(scheduled to release on July 1st), Clark, The Unlikely Murderer and Untold.

The only other Netflix Original Swedish series, Quicksand, has yet to get a renewal.
