Sushmita Sen talks about surviving in Bollywood despite of nepotism

A fan asked Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen about how she has survived in the film industry despite of nepotism and her answer will win your hearts!

The debate of nepotism is at its peak since the Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide. The reports say that he was under depression for the past few months. People have been linking his mental health condition with industry’s unwelcoming nature for the outsiders. Everyone has been calling out the Bollywood industry for its hypocrisy and nepotism.

Amid all such debate, a fan asked Sushmita Sen as to how she has survived in this industry for so long despite of nepotism. A Twitter user wrote, “How you survived Nepotism in Bollywood ??”

For those who don’t know, Sushmita Sen is someone who does not have a filmy background. She has made her name in this industry with her sheer talent and passion.

Sushmita was first crowned Miss India and then she won the title of Miss Universe in 1994. Later, she stepped into the Hindi film industry as she made her Bollywood debut with the film Dastak in 1996. Having worked in popular films like Main Hoon Na and Biwi No. 1, she is one of the most popular actresses in India.  

Her recent work is the web series Aarya, which was released on Hotstar last week on June 19th. Directed by Ram Madhvani, the show also stars Chandrachur Singh and Sikandar Kher. People have been praising Sushmita for her comeback with the show where she plays the titular role of Aarya.
