Students From Bangalore, India Enjoy Lantern Parade and Cultural Night On Their visit to Aberystwyth University

Students from Banglore, India visit the University of Aberystwyth in Wales, where a lantern parade and Cultural Night was organised by the Arts Centre of University of Aberystwyth.

Around 60 adults and children attended lantern parade on Wednesday, 30 October following a trail around Aberystwyth University penglais campus. More than 100 visitors witnessed the spectacular performances in Aberystwyth Arts Centre including Bollywood dance, Welsh traditional twmpath and entertainment by Clocsio. The event was supported by the Arts Council of Wales in collaboration with the Dream a Dream project. School kids from India participated in series of language and cultural workshops. They were engaged with diverse communities in Wales to foster well-being through participating in the arts, supporting positive individual behavioural change and bringing arts activity.

Saqib Malik, Entrepreneur and Digital Marketing Expert along with Naveed Arshad, Digital Influencer attended this perfect fusion of art, heritage and cultural night. Both guests were mixed with the crowd and shared their views with Amanda Trubshaw, Creative Learning Manager at Aberystwyth Art Centre.

The students were also so happy to meet the renowned Digital Marketing Expert Saqib Malik on their visit, taking selfies with him.
