According to one of the series’ producers, Stranger Things season 4 will be released soon. Stranger Things features four buddies, Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Will (Noah Schnapp), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), and Dustin (Finn Wolfhard) (Gaten Matarazzo).

The misfits are already dealing with life in middle school in the 1980s, but now they’re dealing with a whole new set of issues as the characters from their tabletop games come to life and invade Hawkins. With the help of telekinetic Eleven, they take on these beasts.

Seasons 1-3 of Stranger Things are currently available to stream on Netflix. Season 1 of Stranger Things premiered on Netflix on July 15, 2016. Season 2 premiered on October 31, 2017, the same day as the first season. Season 3 was also launched on July 4, 2019, which was a holiday.

Season 4 has yet to be released, though, and fans are thoroughly enjoying it. Not only has the latest entry of the series not been released after two years, but fans also have no idea when they may expect it, as no release date has been announced.

Filming for Season 4 was originally scheduled to take place from January to August 2020, with an April 2021 premiere date. Season 4 was postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Stranger Things season 4 will premiere on Netflix soon, according to Variety. Shawn Levy, the producer of Stranger Things, said that it had been far too long since the show’s last update. He reassured fans, however, that he and the rest of the crew have been filming season 4 for the previous three months and that it is almost ready to be released.

The coronavirus epidemic, he stated, is the primary cause of the delay. Filming had begun in Lithuania just before the pandemic stopped production. When production resumed, he stated that the crew had to slow down in order to maintain safety.

When it comes to the release date for Season 4, Levy teased that fans will learn out soon. “It’ll be here soon enough. And as for when it will be announced, it will be very soon.”

Overall, Stranger Things season 4 appears to be well worth the two-year wait. It’s difficult to say when that release date will be. According to Levy, if filming concluded within the last three months, post-production will take roughly eight months, putting the release date anywhere between January and April 2022.

In addition, assuming Stranger Things follows its previous trend, season 4 will premiere on a holiday such as Valentine’s Day or St. Patrick’s Day.
