Spider-Man: No Way Home New Poster Now Gives First Look At Green Goblin

The first official Spider-Man: No Way Home poster has been out, and it features Willem Dafoe as the Green Goblin for the first time.

Marvel Studios and Sony have been working together on Spider-Man’s film future for the past few years. Tom Holland’s portrayal of Peter Parker made his film debut in Captain America: Civil War; and he went on to act in two solo films as well as two Avengers flicks.

He’ll now star in the final instalment of his Marvel Cinematic Universe trilogy, Spider-Man: No Way Home. Despite the fact that Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is already well underway, this is one of Marvel’s most anticipated projects due to its suspected content.

The MCU sequel is confirmed to contain a multiverse-focused plot, picking up after the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home. This had been suspected for months and was finally verified with the first teaser for Spider-Man: No Way Home. Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) appears in the multiverse storey as someone who can stop Mysterio from disclosing Peter’s secret identity.

Past Spider-Man adversaries including Doc Ock (Alfred Molina), Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), Electro (Jamie Foxx), and others have returned thanks to the multiverse. The promotion for Spider-Man: No Way Home has been limited to a bare minimum by Marvel and Sony; but that is about to change.

First Poster Shows Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Electro & Sandman

The first official Spider-Man: No Way Home poster was released today by Marvel Studios and Sony. Tom Holland’s Spider-Man wears his Iron Spider outfit on the billboard, with Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin lurking in the background. Meanwhile, the mechanical arms of Doc Ock, the lighting of Electro, and the sand from Sandman (Thomas Hayden Church) are all present. This happens about a month before the MCU film is set to hit theatres exclusively. Take a peek at the latest trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home below:

The Green Goblin, played by Willem Dafoe, is best known as the major antagonist of Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man. Norman returned in Spider-Man: No Way Home in a drastically different way than he did in the previous two sequels; because of lingering memories of Harry Osborn.

This first glimpse at his appearance appears to confirm that the Goblin suit look that Dafoe’s version of the character is known for will remain the same as he joins the MCU. Green Goblin’s appearance in the Spider-Man: No Way Home poster follows his introduction in the first teaser with his Pumpkin Bomb.

With the release of the official Spider-Man: No Way Home poster; it’s possible that a new trailer could be released shortly. Marvel and Sony have kept this poster under wraps for an unusually long time; but it appears that this is the start of the last marketing push. Now that the Green Goblin has been revealed in the poster; it’s probable that Willem Dafoe will appear in the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home teaser to further pique fans’ interest in his return.
