Monali Thakur slams the trolls for her calling her a ‘gold digger’
Several people have been trolling the Bollywood singer Monali Thakur for marrying the Switzerland based business Maik Richter calling her a gold digger!
Social media trolls have become a huge issue for the celebs these days. While such bullying is not appreciated, there are several times when the celebs decide to hit back. This time it is the singer Monali Thakur who has lashed out at the trolls for calling her a gold digger.
Sharing a video with her husband Maik Richter, she explained how both of them had a very unconventional marriage ceremony. “Sooo since we didn’t do any wedding ceremony yet, since last 3 years, 2 months… Am sharing this moment from the day Maik n I got married.. There was drama on that day as Maik got deported and then brought back. But there was no drama in our happiness and love!..,” she added in the captions.
She went on to slam the trolls mentioning that she earns more than her husband. Monali clearly denoted that she didn’t marry him for his money. “And for few miserable creatures out their in social media, with no balls.. hiding behind the anonymity and calling me names.. just to let you know calling me a gold digger only accentuates yourselves as massive failures.. I married this man because he could celebrate my success, my strength and my independence… It must be difficult for you losers to accept it but guess what! The “gold digger” earns more than the successful business man.. sorry to disappoint you all.. no drama in there..,” wrote Monali.
For those who don’t know, Monali has been married to Switzerland based restaurateur Maik Richter. They had a private wedding three years back and it was only last month when the singer revealed it to the world.
