Singer Ellie Goulding Welcomes First Child With Husband Caspar Jopling

Singer Ellie Goulding has given birth to her first child.

The mother and the new born child “are both healthy and happy”, said her husband, Caspar Jopling, on Instagram. He did not confirm the sex of the child.

The art dealer added “he was very much grateful for the child” and asked the need to be private and confidential.

“I don’t ever address the public attention that comes with Ellie’s job,” he wrote.

“But at this moment of magic and joy we would be very happy to be able to enjoy our privacy. Thank you x.”

Goulding’s Pregnancy

Goulding, 34, revealed she was pregnant in February. They found out she was expecting thee new baby on their wedding anniversary day in August, she said, adding that it was a surprise.

“That wasn’t a plan,” she told the British Vogue. “The thought of getting pregnant didn’t seem like a real thing. Pregnancy made me feel like a human.

“I have curves I’ve never had before. I’m enjoying it. My husband’s enjoying it.”

Caspar And Ellie’s Love Life

Goulding and Mr. Jopling were married at a ceremony at former York Minister on 31 August 2019.

She wore a traditional wedding dress with a veil and a train made for Chloe by Natacha Ramsay-Levi, while Mr Jopling opted for a suit from Savile Row fashion designers Huntsman.
