She-Hulk Image Shows How Tatiana Maslany Looks Like Marvel Comics Hero

A new image has helped us see how similar She-Hulk actress Tatiana Maslany and the character look. At D23 Expo Long, Kevin Feige had announced She-Hulk among one of the many plethoras of projects that Marvel will be working on.

Tatiana was cast just over a year later in September 2020. The series will be headed by Rick and Morty writer, Jessica Gao, and Kat Coiro will be directing several episodes. It is expected to premiere on Disney+ in 2022. The series will be set in the continuity of the MCU as the superhero comedy series will revolve around the main character, Jennifer Walters.

She is a New York lawyer who inherits the power of the Hulk from her cousin, Bruce Banner. This comes after they undergo a blood transfusion but this will enable Banner to lose his intelligence. He will turn into his hulking alter ego while his cousin Jennifer will retain her personality and intelligence but gain super-strength as well.

Tatiana and Mark Ruffalo have already been cast and they have Tim Roth who will reprise his role as Abomination from The Incredible Hulk. Renee Elise Goldsberry will be seen as Amelia, Jameela Jamil as Titania and Ginger Gonzaga in an undisclosed role.

A Reddit user posted an image to the site which shows how closely both Tatiana and the comic book heroine resemble each other. The image saw two photos edited side by side to compare the two. It featured the picture of Tatiana and the She-Hulk adaptation by John Bryne. The image revealed how similar their facial structure and individual facial features were.

Tatiana is the first actress to officially take the role of She-Hulk for the upcoming series; however, she was not the first actress to be considered. Back in the 1990s, actress Brigitte Nielson had been cast under late screenwriter Larry Cohen for the She-Hulk film. Even promotional images of the actress in the costume were revealed.

But the film never came into existence as the film never materialized and was eventually scrapped altogether. Now, having the actress of a comic book character closely resembles the source material will be a positive thing for fans. They always wish to see their characters be given justice on the big and small screens. This means so far, the casting choice has been proven to be an epic choice on Marvel Studios’ part. However, Tatiana’s depiction of She-Hulk remains to be seen when the series premieres in 2022 on Disney+.
